For my first emerging technology I explored PhotoShow. PhotoShow can be free and you may also pay money to upgrade. Photoshow can make wonderful movies, similar to Powerpoint shows, with pictures. I thought it would be really useful at a graduation or birthday party. It is possible to get the PhotoShow that you make turned into a DVD. That would be really fun to do! It may cost some money. Also, when upgrading, it is possible to add music from ITUNES. It is simple just upload the pictures you want to use and do some tinkering to the text. It is very self-explanatory. I enjoyed using it because it was so easy. Although, I did try to upload my pictures all at once and it took forever! I do not recommend that. It was easier for me to upload them individually. It made the process a lot faster! I liked how I could customize mine with a vacation theme that was provided. Also, I enjoyed the fun "stickers." I used a sun, some stars, and a palm tree! Overall, I was interested in PhotoShow because it allowed me to use some creativity instead of simply uploading photos! Try it out! My PhotoShow is at the bottom of my page with my music and Powerpoint!

Cute slideshow, Kristen! Looks like you guys had a great time! I really liked the beach template you chose and how it went so well with your photos! I must say, I thought the most interesting picture was the one of the duck!
ReplyDeleteI loved the slideshow! I made a slideshow for my 1st emerging technology also. It was a very cool idea where you had the introduction text being written on the sand as your introduction to your photos. You did a great job. It looks so professional and it will encourage others to try it.

AND thank you for labeling the last or second to last picture that was a duck! I have never seen a duck that looked like that!!! Looks like a fun vacation! Great job on the slide show!

ReplyDeleteNice slideshow. I also like to take pictures of funny signs I've seen. My favorite in a creek I pass on the way to Mississppi called "nameless creek". That duck in your slideshow was awesome? Were there others that looked like him?
ReplyDeleteYea! There was one right next to that one actually. My boyfriend said he has seen them before too! I had no idea what it was at first! We spent like 10 minutes just looking at it.=)
